Biography
Travis Parks makes his home in Carrier Mills, Illinois
and is currently a proud member of the
Illinois Country Music Association (ICMA),
as well as Vice President of the Southern Chapter of the ICMA.
Travis has been touring extensively for the past 5 years. His
shows reach from Chicago to Nashville and as far west as Texas.
Not only is he an entertainer, Travis is also a brilliant and
motivated songwriter.
When he is not touring, Travis attempts to squeeze his jobs at
the local Tractor Supply Company and the Carrier Mills Fire
Department into his busy schedule. As you can see, Travis is one
extremely hard working diligent and family-oriented young
cowboy!
Travis currently has 5 albums total, the most recent being “Lay
It On Me.” He has earned the title of Illinois Country Music
Association’s 2009 Male Vocalist of the Year and 2009 Vocal
Collaboration of the Year with his duet partner, Stephanie
Foster. He has won several awards from the North American
Country Music Association as well. A few of those include 2008
Male Entertainer of the Year, 2008 Male Vocalist of the Year and
2008 Vocal Duo of the Year with
Stephanie Foster.
Travis Parks’ shows are full of energy and excitement. In
addition to performing songs from his 5 albums, Travis performs
songs from some of his favorite artists that he has had the
opportunity to open for such as The Wilkinsons, John Conlee,
Johnny Lee, Jeff Carson, Daryl Singletary, Billy Joe Royal,
Exile, Rhett Akins and T.G. Sheppard. Once while performing on
the free entertainment stage at the DuQuoin State Fair, he was
joined on stage by Trent Tomilson. How’s that for excitement?
